Celebrate the next generation of musical talent in this inspiring concert featuring the winners of the 2026 Young Artist Competition and a special performance by the Greater Palouse Youth Orchestra.


Emerging Narratives shines a spotlight on rising stars as they take the stage alongside the Washington Idaho Symphony, showcasing both individual artistry and the collective energy of youth in music. The program also includes Aaron Copland’s Outdoor Overture, Three Dances from “The Bartered Bride” by Bedřich Smetana, and Bacchanale from “Samson and Delilah” by Camille Saint-Saëns—works full of vitality, drama, and bold storytelling.


This concert honors the journey of young musicians and the unfolding stories that shape the future of classical performance.
